The CB450S was a European-market naked twin, sold mainly in Germany, built around the 447 cc three-valve SOHC engine of the South American CB450. Its standout feature was a wide-set tubular frame that used the engine as a stressed member, with the frame tubes painted in a contrasting colour. Twin front discs gave it stronger braking than the earlier US Hawk and Nighthawk.
